I’m a documentary director and cinematographer. I work primarily with an observational approach, staying close to people and situations over time, and paying attention to the quieter moments where meaning tends to surface on its own.

Much of my work sits between documentary and applied contexts. I collaborate with creative agencies as well as directly with brands and cultural institutions, often on projects that require sensitivity, trust, and a willingness to let things unfold rather than be overly directed. I’m often involved early in the development of a project, helping shape its approach and framing before any filming begins.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked on documentary films for cinema and broadcast, alongside shorter projects spanning performance, music, and commissioned work. Clients and collaborators include Adidas, Sennheiser, Amnesty International, Neue Nationalgalerie, d&b audiotechnik, the Hertie School, and the OSCE.

Across different formats, I’m drawn to projects that leave room for ambiguity and complexity. I’m interested in how people relate to their environments, to systems, and to each other, and in how those relationships can be filmed without flattening them.

I’m open to selected commercial and commissioned projects that benefit from early editorial thinking and close collaboration.
