Seeing sound as sculpture documents a live performance developed with d&b Soundscape, offering a behind-the-scenes and on-stage perspective on an immersive, spatial sound environment.

The film follows a collaborative performance in which sound is treated as a physical presence rather than a linear event. Sub-bass, movement, and spatialised audio interact with performers and audience alike, transforming the venue into an active listening field.

Shot from within rehearsals and live performance, the camera observes moments of concentration, exchange, and technical adjustment, foregrounding process over spectacle. Rather than presenting the event as a finished product, the film emphasizes the conditions that allow sound, bodies, and technology to co-exist in real time.

The project was developed in collaboration with artist and performers at Volksbühne Berlin as part of CTM Festival, reflecting an ongoing interest in how technical systems shape artistic experience without dominating it.
